Legs & Back
I BROUGHT it tonight - couldn't finish and I wanted to vomit. So, didn't finish the workout and didn't do the Abs, but I haven't eaten anything after that - except for three little Dove things.

restart of P90X
Jenelle and I started last week with P90X. We had to miss the legs and back day, so we made it up yesterday and I did Kenpo X today. Tomorrow I will begin again with Chest and Back and skip Yoga X and do it on Sunday so I will be back in the rotation. My measurements are the same as the last time I did them, on a different blog, but I am going to update weekly with my measurements.
I haven't been to the gym in a while so I can't tell you what their scale says.
Beginning of Week 2:
Neck: 14"
Bra band: 35"
Bra cup: 41"
Waist: 34"
hips including baby pooch: 43"

Upper Arm (relaxed) 14" & 14"
Upper Arm (flexed) 14" & 14"
Thigh 26 1/2" & 26 1/2"
calf 15 1/2" & 15 1/2"

I've lost an inch on my bra size and waist with a 1/2" loss in my hips. Slow work - but coming right along. It's an inch I never want back.
I seem to have gained 1/2" on my calves and my arms when relaxed. That is stressful. Just finished Kenpo X for the day. ugh ugh ugh. TIRED, but I feel better than I thought I would. I feel strong, knowing I can punch someone out!

Week 1 Day 5
Week 1 Day 5: Legs & Back + Ab Ripper X
Amazing leg workout. Lots of lunges and squats. The calf raises felt amazing. No way to do chin-ups still, so did rows to work out the back (2 sets only).
Personal Best in the Ab Ripper! Today I could do both of the laying down sit ups! I couldn't correctly do the "V" but I am so proud of myself. The Scissors were hard today and I like those a lot. I think they were hard and the bicycles because my legs felt so heavy after the intense workout.
I am LOVING working out like this. Wall squats were a killer but Natalie, Tara, and Dani all BROUGHT IT! Not really looking forward to Kenpo tomorrow.
P90X Week 1 Day 4 - Yoga X
audio not working . . . going to do it on Sunday instead of Stretch X to make up for it.
I really missed not using my muscles!

P90X Week 1 Day 3
8:32 AM -- I feel really good and I am excited to work out. When I stretch I can feel it in my abs and I know they are going to hurt today with the Ab Ripper! I ate a couple of apple slices since my workout is in half an hour. Plus, we ran out of eggs yesterday!

P90X Week 1 Day 2
Week 1 Day 2: Plyometrics
My arms were sore last night and I found it hard to fall asleep. However, I was not as sore as I thought I would be. This might be due to the whey protein I'm drinking after my workouts.
Plyometrics kicked my butt today. Tara D. and Dani and I worked out in the youth room. Justin was SO sweet and got it all set up for us. It was muggy outside and made the room hotter than it already was. We had both fans going!
My legs didn't always do well with the lunges at the end, especially the ones where we had to jump 180 squats. When we did the cool down, cat stretch, I really felt it in my abs.
We ate pizza tonight but I think that I am under 2000 calories definitely and I think my calorie count is 1700 plus I worked out today and Kyle thought Plyo would burn about 400 calories.
P90X Week 1 Day 1: Bruised Knuckles
I'm ready to start FOR REAL . . . I've done P90X workouts before but never all in a row the way they are supposed to be done. SO . . . here we go.
Week 1 Day 1: Shoulders & Back + Ab Ripper X
Tara D. and Dani came over and we did the exercises in the back room. We didn't have a chin up bar, so we used bands wrapped around the attic beams. Not a smart idea. I snapped the red resistance band and it bruised my knuckles.
We used our 5 lb weights to pretend to do pull-ups but Justin said instead of working our backs, we worked our arms . . . not the plan, but we will do better next time.
Ab Ripper X was extreme and I actually did the Mason Twist 20+ times and I was so proud of myself!!! Then Justin and I went to the gym and I did about an hour of cardio. 20+ on the treadmill with me running for at least 5 minutes on 5.0 and walking 3.0+.
Then I did 35 minutes on the elliptical and in total, cardio-ed about 3.5 miles!!!
